Overview: Redefining efficient and sustainable poultry farming
In the pursuit of higher production efficiency and animal welfare, a scientific, durable, and controllable environment is the cornerstone of successful aquaculture. Our steel structure poultry farm, designed and manufactured specifically for global farmers, is not only a building, but also a complete production system solution. We integrate high-strength engineering materials, modular prefabrication processes, and modern agricultural environmental science to create modern breeding facilities that can withstand extreme weather, significantly reduce disease risks, and significantly improve operational efficiency for you. Say goodbye to the tedious maintenance and performance limitations of traditional wooden structures, invest in a durable asset that can be used for over 30 years, and build a solid guarantee for the health and business growth of your poultry flock.
Why choose our steel structure farm?
Comprehensive advantages beyond traditional architecture
Choosing steel structures means choosing lower long-term total costs, higher biosafety levels, and stronger risk resistance capabilities. The following is a visual comparison with traditional wooden structure buildings:
|
Feature Dimension |
Our Steel Structure Farm |
Traditional Wooden Structure Farm |
|
Service Life & Durability |
≥30 years. Steel does not rot, deform, or attract termites, with minimal maintenance required. |
About 10-15 years. Prone to moisture damage, decay, and insect infestation, requiring frequent repairs. |
|
Biosecurity & Health |
Smooth non-porous surfaces prevent bacteria and parasites from hiding, making cleaning and disinfection easier and reducing disease risks. |
Porous wood easily harbors pathogens, making cleaning and disinfection difficult and increasing disease risks. |
|
Construction Speed & Cost |
Factory prefabrication with on-site bolt installation shortens construction time by over 40%, with less weather impact and controllable costs. |
Requires extensive on-site work, long construction periods, high weather dependency, and higher labor costs. |
|
Disaster Resistance & Safety |
Can withstand winds up to 120 mph (54m/s) and 40 psf snow loads, with excellent fire resistance. |
Weak wind and seismic resistance, high fire risk, and prone to collapse under heavy wind and snow. |
|
Flexibility & Expandability |
Modular design allows easy future expansion in length or width without rebuilding. |
Difficult to expand or modify, often requiring demolition of existing structures at high cost. |
Our product system: adapted to every farming mode
1. Classified by environmental control methods
● Open type naturally ventilated chicken coop: adopting a unique column free rigid frame and open side wall design, maximizing natural air circulation, especially suitable for warm areas, with extremely low operating energy consumption.
● The enclosed environment control chicken coop adopts a fully enclosed insulation design, integrating automated ventilation, heating, cooling, and lighting systems to create a constant and suitable environment (such as 65-75 ° F) for the chicken flock that is not affected by external interference, helping to achieve efficient production throughout the year.
● Tunnel ventilation chicken coop: Integrating longitudinal ventilation and evaporative cooling systems, it provides strong and uniform cooling airflow for high-density breeding in hot climates, making it an ideal choice for large broiler farms.
2. Classified by breeding type and technology
● Egg chicken coop: Optimize the layout of cages or roosters, equipped with integrated egg collection channels and stepped manure ditches, adopting a large-span design to facilitate mechanized operations and improve egg production efficiency.
● Broiler house: Designed for the rapid growth cycle of broiler chickens, focusing on achieving uniform ventilation, optimizing the layout of feeding and drinking water lines, and efficient cushioning management to achieve the best feed to meat ratio.
● Breeding/brooding house: equipped with precise environmental zoning control system and dedicated feeding system to meet the special needs of breeding and brooding birds at various growth stages.
● Free range poultry house: provides a connection solution between safe night shelters and free outdoor activity areas, striking a balance between ensuring animal welfare and optimizing production management to meet specific market certification requirements.
3.Classified by building structure
● Single layer flat chicken coop: an economical and efficient universal choice, suitable for various breeding modes, with high space utilization.
● Multi layer stacked cage chicken coop: using a sturdy steel truss support system, it can achieve intensive land use, greatly increase the breeding density per unit area, and is suitable for large egg chicken farms or breeding chicken farms.
How to Plan Your Ideal Farm: Four Key Decision Guides
1. Determine the optimal building dimensions (span and length)
● 12-16 meter span: The golden size of a standard commercial chicken coop, which can balance building costs, internal space utilization, and ventilation efficiency, and can perfectly accommodate 3-5 rows of automated equipment.
● Span of 16-20 meters or more: Suitable for high-density cage farming or large livestock farms that require spacious central passages. It can provide column free large space, but requires a more powerful environmental control system.
● Length planning (50-150 meters): It needs to be determined based on your inventory, equipment layout, and site terrain. The longer the chicken coop, the more conducive it is to achieving more efficient "all in, all out" assembly line management.
2. Choose an appropriate height for the interior of the building (eave height)
● 2.5-3.5 meters (low eave height): Suitable for enclosed chicken coops with strict environmental control requirements, it helps with insulation and reduces ventilation energy consumption.
● 3.5-4.5 meters (medium to high eaves): The most versatile choice, providing ample space for installing fans, wet curtains, ventilation ducts, and hanging equipment to improve the accumulation of hot air.
● 5 meters and above (high eaves height): commonly seen in tunnel ventilation chicken coops, tall spaces form a "chimney effect", which is conducive to forming uniform longitudinal airflow and reducing wind speed.
3. Match your climate and environmental strategy
● Hot and humid areas: It is recommended to adopt a combination scheme of "open/semi open structure+high wind capacity fan+wet curtain". Meanwhile, it is recommended to use PVDF coated roof panels with high reflectivity to effectively reduce the impact of thermal radiation.
● Cold regions: A "fully enclosed+insulation+active heating" solution must be adopted. It is recommended to use polyurethane sandwich panels with a thickness of not less than 75 millimeters as the enclosure structure, as their excellent insulation performance can significantly reduce heating costs.
● Windy/coastal areas: the structure needs to be designed for wind resistance reinforcement (such as adding slant support and using thicker steel), and all metal parts must be heavily galvanized (≥ 275g/㎡) or "aluminized and galvanized" to resist salt spray corrosion
4. Integrate core functional systems (reserved during the design phase)
● A successful breeding farm begins with forward thinking design. We will reserve the following system integration interfaces for you in the structural design:
● Automated environmental control: precise layout of fan, wet curtain, intake window, and heater positions and support points.
● Feeding and drinking water system: Pre embedded sturdy hanging bracket installation points, carrying automatic feeding lines and water supply pipelines.
● Lighting system: Plan the routing of circuits and the installation points of lighting fixtures to achieve uniform lighting.
● Fecal treatment: Reserve structural loads and channels for scraper boards, conveyor belts, or deep pit designs.
Our core technology and quality commitment
Main structural system
● Main framework: Made of high-strength steel according to Chinese national standard Q345B (equivalent to ASTM A572), with a yield strength of ≥ 345MPa, ensuring overall stability.
● Connection: The main components are connected with 10.9 grade high-strength bolts, combined with precision drilling technology in the factory. The on-site installation is convenient and efficient, and the installation error is controlled within 2mm.
Enclosure and insulation system
Roof panel/wall panel:
● Economy type: 0.4-0.7mm thick aluminum zinc coated steel plate with long service life.
● Recommended type: 0.5mm thick PVDF coated steel plate, with long-lasting color and strong corrosion resistance.
● Insulation type: 50-100mm thick polyurethane/rock wool sandwich panel with excellent insulation performance.
Load and safety standards
